The defining characteristic of this project is movement and connection. The primary challenge was to enhance connection to the entry of dwelling, from the street. This was achieved through a combination of lighting, a vertical trellis and a circuitous terraced path, designed in such a way as to imply movement through the garden to the entry, situated high at the southern side of the dwelling. The architect stipulated that the landscape form should reflect that of the architecture, and that it was critical to the final outcome.
